Guest speaker at the Harvard Institute of Politics in March 2018 for the "#NEVERAGAIN: How Parkland Students are Changing the Conversation on Guns" event. Spoke to the origins and work of the March For Our Lives Organization.
Spoke to a crowd of roughly anywhere between 250k and 1.2 million attendees in Washington DC at the March For Our Lives Protest. At the time the protests were considered one of if not the largest single day youth led protest in U.S. history.
Co-delivered keynote speech alongside MFOL Lobbyist Charlie Mirsky and conducted some info sessions with students from throughout the Central American region as part of The International School of Panama's annual model UN conference in Panama City, Panama.
Presented “Creating a youth movement / Creando un movimiento juvenil” at the Nobel Peace Laureate Summit in Merida, MX. This presentation was carried out alongside Chicago organizer Alex King and directed to international students primarily from the Latin American sphere but extended to some African and East Asian students alongside some of their older mentors.
Presented “Gun Violence Without Borders” at the AIUSA Annual General Meeting in San Diego, CA. This widely attended discussion would be directed to a range of human rights advocates in a semi-formal, highly interactive, format in which participants completed several group activities along with receiving a crash course in international firearm trafficking.
Led session with students at the Worker's Circle in NYC exploring the power of storytelling and how to use one's own strengths to organize for such change. This session aimed to equip participants with helpful tools and resources to respond to a myriad of societal grievances.
